Cornell Law Web Site

This site at Cornell University Law School provides a collection of links to legal resources for federal and state laws and other supporting information particularly useful for those researching state and federal statutes. A unique feature is the State Statutes by Topic page which provides links to statutes based on topic.

LexisNexis is one of the most prominent subscription based legal resources available. It can be found at many academic and law libraries and is heavily used by attorneys. This resource has broad appeal to those looking for case law, federal and state statutes and administrative rules, landmark cases, discussion and analysis provided in law review articles, legal reference, intellectual property resources, and tax law. Also provided in LexisNexis is wide ranging legal news from around the world and Shepard's Citations which helps a researcher track down where a given case is cited in other resources.
